Alex started with our company as an intern, pursuing his Master’s degree and LCPC several years ago. He leads by example, does all his work according to deadlines, supports his colleagues with taking extra on-call, offering food, coffee, chocolate, Hi-chews, whatever a person needs (employee or client)- he supports them. He is a strong advocate for underserved populations, improving policy manuals and volunteering on committees.
Many people may not know he is also pursuing his Ph.D. while balancing all his commitments in a full-time, face-paced job within our agency. He is a leader supporting other staff, volunteers, and students to learn and grow with their own expertise and be their best self to help serve our mission.
Alex has taken on outside events with clients as well coaching and organizing the afterhours MRWH softball team this year. The softball co-ed rec league team has been playing for several years now with both staff, clients, and outside partners playing on the team. This is a wonderful event that brings joy to the clients who enjoy the games and the teamwork involved with softball. Organizing the team is quite a task and Alex has accepted the challenge this year.
Alex consistently goes above and beyond the positions duties with client care/support at the forefront of every item assigned.
Even during these times of change Alex perseveres and reflects a positive attitude with peers and clients. Alex offers and smile and encouraging words to everyone throughout the agency, always shows up and steps in.
