Since the first day I’ve worked my Monday shift at Gateway Group Home I’ve witnessed Gracie remain consistent in her efforts to ensure the clients in the house are taken care of. From making sure all of their meds are fully stocked and have their refills to prepping and preparing their meals going the extra mile making the meals delicious. She also constantly organizes and cleans, ensuring the clients are in a happy, healthy environment and finally she is very engaging with the clients, checking in with them and their mental wellbeing. I believe she deserves to be recognized simply because she cares about the people she works with and in the world of mental health, connection is everything.
